    Africa Trade Intelligence

    “The Ledger of Ports”

    AI market intelligence for African commodity exporters, starting with cocoa.

    Objective
    Give African commodity exporters the market intelligence that large trading houses take for granted, so smaller exporters can price, plan and sell on the same information.
    What I built
    The whole platform, as its only technical person: engineering, product design and infrastructure. It has four layers: an EUDR deforestation-compliance checker, supply-chain intelligence, market intelligence and counterparty intelligence. It generates PDF compliance reports with real Sentinel-2 before-and-after satellite imagery, and uses Claude Haiku to filter geopolitical news from GDELT.

    SafeLine

    “The Mothers' Watch”

    A maternal and newborn danger-sign checker.

    Objective
    Help pregnant women and new mothers recognise the danger signs, in themselves and in their newborns, early enough to act, and know how urgently to seek care.
    What I built
    A phone-first web checker that walks pregnant women and new mothers through maternal and newborn danger signs and tells them how urgently to seek care. A language model handles the conversation; a rule engine makes the clinical call. It began as a general health-assistant chatbot and pivoted to this dual-care checker. I am technical lead, developer and product designer in a team of four.

    Outcome

    “The Twin Forges”

    An AI and blockchain product studio.

    Objective
    Build AI systems and blockchain protocols for real-world use, and ship them as products people adopt.
    What I built
    The studio ships Velix Protocol (liquid staking for STRK and METIS), Alpha Alith (an AI layer for on-chain insights), Froska (a memetic-finance experiment), SafeLine and Africa Trade Intelligence. I am its lead developer, in charge of all development and product design. I co-founded ATI, where I build the whole platform, and SafeLine, where I am technical lead; earlier I ran marketing for Velix Protocol.
    Outcome
    Velix Protocol is live, Alpha Alith is in beta, and SafeLine is in development.

    KNUST, Optometry

    Six years at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, learning the eye from the cornea back. I left in 2023 a Doctor of Optometry, trained to look closely and name what I see.

  2. The Chain2021 – 2024

    Into Web3

    Between lectures I found Web3 and taught myself to build. Three tours followed: community manager at Netswap, Africa and marketing manager at Metis, and marketing manager at Velix Protocol.

    AI and health tech

    I turned the tools toward health. With Quari Labs I co-founded SafeLine, a maternal and newborn danger-sign checker: a language model holds the conversation, and a rule engine makes the clinical call.
